Dr. Billie Katz provides evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with eating and weight disorders, emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, and personality disorders.

With extensive training in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family-Based Therapy (FBT), Billie tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, helping them build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.

Prior to s.b.k., Billie served as the Director of the Intensive Program at the Center of Excellence in Eating & Weight Disorders at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she co-developed a specialized young adult track for college students requiring a higher level of outpatient care.
